Sustainability
We strive to provide quality native plants to our community while running a low-waste operation focused on ecosystem restoration and propagation of local genotypes. We only sell straight native species and focus on species diversity in our collections.
Seeds & Plants
The majority of our seeds are sourced from Ohio Prairie Nursery and properties in Mahoning and Portage Counties. We start all of our plants from seed or from divisions in our own collection.
Soil Mixes
All of our soil mixes are made in-house and are peat free! We utilize coco-coir, aged compost, mulched leaves, and other organic materials as eco-friendly alternatives to peat based soil mixes.
Low-Waste Pots
We reuse pots as much as possible, and recycle all cracked / broken pots. We also have a point-based pot return program! When customers turn in their gently used pots, we trade them for free plants!
